Not so SUPPPPPPERRRRAAMMMMMM part 2
OK, seems these intakes are the best thing since sliced bread as the wait is 3 weeks to 3 months because the one die cast machine in some 3rd world country broke a 50 cent part. Does anyone know who would have one IN STOCK ? Unbelieveable that Accel would make a customer wait this long for a part.

The converted intake has a couple of interesting tricks...
If I remember all the details:
1) a fitting to transfer coolant at the front if the intake
2) a hole drilled for the distributor.
3) you have to retrofit EGR if you wish to keep it. It's located where the distributor would be... and they won't both fit there.

You have to use the small cap distributor and remote coil to keep EGR. Also you use a remote thermostat housing.

Try here. I bought a base manifold from him, $367...better than Summit's $515

Casting problem
Well for all you guys looking for a SR Manifold and wondering why the sudden shortage. It appears that all of the manifolds in stock at Mr Gasket had a casting problem. What they told me was the peices that are casted won't bolt up properly so they sent them all back to the foundary which melted them down. New peices will be made after their molds are either fixed or redesigned to fix the problem. That is why there is a 3 month lead time.
