Idler pulley source
I was at a track day today. I guess all those rpms were a bit much on my 120k mile idler pulley. I got off track and the belt was in shreds, and all that's left of the pulley is the bearing!
I called the local auto parts stores, they list it as unavailable.
For the LT1, I bought the belt, idler, tensioner, and power steering pump pulley from a GM dealer.
With the exception of the power steering pump pulley, they all came with the Dayco name and part numbers on them.
So, I could have bought the same thing at Advance Auto Parts for less money.

I'm glad I picked up two, idler & tensioner, same part #, as the other one doesn't look so hot either.
Mine were worn when I got the car at 81K miles. The tensinor was good so I replaced the pulley on it and the idler pulley. About $17 each at NAPA a couple of years ago. Yes, they are the same part.
