OK I have my first issue with my new vette. When I bought the car I checked all external lights and they worked. The other day when I drove the car the first time at night, I noticed that my gauge lights were not working. The LCD screen worked fine but I couldn't see the tach and other gauges etc. etc. Then I started looking into things and noticed on the exterior, only my headlights work, no other exterior light comes on, but I have blinkers and brake lights. I looked throught the owner's manual and can not find any fuses that deal with what my problem may be. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I believe there are 2 sets of fuses under the hood close to the battery. The 3rd set should be on the passenger side when you open the door, they are located close to the hinges.
I'm familiar with the location of the 3 fuse boxes, the only fuse that I see that could be the cause is the 60 amp fuse in the engine bay labeled exterior lights. When I test lighted the fuse it was hot on both sides. every other fuse that has anything to do with console lighting etc. was good also. Is there any relays or inline fuses that could deal with all the exterior lights?
The only thing common to all of your symptoms is the Headlight switch.
If you have a volt meter unbolt the headlight switch and verify when the headlight switch is in park or head position you have 12 volts from the Brown wire to Ground. If not, the headlight switch is bad.
Note:
The red wire at the headlight switch is the 12 volts input to the switch and is hot all of the time.

I appreciate the responses, but after doing several checks and nothing coming up, I decided to take it to the professionals. I have an appointment with Chevy on Thursday to get it fixed.
Did you check the "TAIL" fuse in the passenger side of the dash? Believe it's a 10A (Blue) fuse. That fuse controls the dash lites, the tail lamps and the front cornering lamps.
