Well, this really isn't for the vette, but it is LT1 related nonetheless and i see this forum as being able to best answer the question since so many of you have "extreme" setups. I just purchased a 94 Z28 with a built 396. the following is a cut & paste of the components in the motor:

This is a fresh 396 ci. stroker, it was bored .030 over, line bored, new forged 4340 steel 3.875" crank, new forged JE 6" 4340 steel rods, new forged JE .030 over flat top pistons with 2 valve relief’s. Hellfire file fit rings. Rotating assembly was internally balanced. New high volume oil pump, new cam, main & rod bearings. New Comp Cams XE nitrous cam 236-242, matching springs. Comp "R" roller lifters, 1.6 Roller rockers, hardened push rods. Stage 2 ported heads, with fresh valve job. Ported, polished & powder coated Stock intake, 30lb. SVO injectors, AFP regulator. New OPTI spark with 9 months left on warrantee, CSI electric water pump, Corvette composite valve covers and fuel rail covers, Cold air induction kit...

First off, what would a ballpark power figure for this combo be? it does have LT Headers with no cats and no other emissions of any kind. based on the car's trap speed i come up with a ballpark 400rwhp. Is this unrealistic?

next, the car is equipped with a dual nozzle NOS wet system capable of 200hp extra. i would think it would handle it no problem...opinions?

also, if i ditched the NOS and went turbo/supercharger, what do you think it could take boost-wise? 15psi intercooled/meth safe? i see several of you in that neighborhood so i figured i should be ok as well...compression should be about 10.75:1 according to previous owner...

the motor were built for na with fairly high c/r. The combo alone is probably 390-425rwhp. Be on that you gonna need more cam and more compression like 12.1 and solid roller 240/240 @5 .625 lift 112 this combo will probably get you 440rwhp+.

As for boosting. I would not do it. And you will not be able to run any where near 15psi that you want it. Unless you are lower the c/r. Enjoy the car now making pretty good power. When and if it blown than drop the c/r and go turo/supercharged. .02
