sorry nobody is givin up info, i would like to know also. i wanna figure out what is the max my intake manifold can support, i have the big tube runners, and big mouth base intake.

My guess is that plenum volume only needs to be as big as the total intake volume of the engine at 100% volumetric efficiency.

Just a guess.

There's a whole lot of science on runner and primary sizing, but not much for plenums and collectors. More rule of thumb stuff than anything else.

Do a google search for David Vizard.

Building a plenum and knowing what you're doing are two different things. I remember Grumpy modified the HSR to fit under our hoods, but you don't hear too much anymore. As I recall, it was fairly effective albeit not smog legal.
