Both your 84 seats and the newer ones are non-sport?

if so, I would remove the bottom cushion and unbolt the old seats fromt eh track, then remove the cushion on the new seats and bolt them to the existing tracks fromt he old seats.

I did this in my 89.. old non-sport seats to non-sport 94096 style.. easy..

Yes both are non sport seats So you don't use the frame that holds the old cushions you just use the existing tracks fromt the old seats.
Did I get that right?
