Default LT1 Nitrous Solenoid Mounting

Anyone have any pics of nitrous solenoids mounted on an LT1? Does anyone know if there is enough space from the hood to mount them on top of the intake manifold. I had them mounted there on my LT1 camaro and liked the way they were. Now that I am switching the kit over to my vette (92), i don't know if I have enough space under the hood.

Thanks for any help!

Yes there is plenty of space to mount them on top of the intake. That's where mine are (on their sides). I didn't really like them there and I tried moving them to the side of the wheel wells, but I found they were hotter there (I guess radiant heat from the exhaust) so I put them back on top. I have pics but I don't know how to post them on this forum.

I just removed the bold from the fuel rail and installed them there.

Sounds like how i had them mounted on my camaro, laying on their sides on the top of the intake. Can you send the pics to ksphar@cinci.rr.com

Thanks.
