84 Power Seat Removal Help
Help!!
Where are the nuts for the front of the powered track unit? I have the upholstery removed, seat pan, and the rear bolts off. I don't have power in the car (motor, trans, variuos grd. straps are out) so I can't move the seat track unless there's a secret to it. Are they under the plastic covers at the front of the track frame (on the floor)? Can't find a way to take them off without breaking them.
The manuals I have only cover removing the manual seats.

Yes you do need to remove the two black plastic covers that cover the front nuts.
If you look at the front of each cover, there is a black plastic push pin that you pry out. Then you pull the plastic cover forward and wiggle it out. The cover by the transmission tunnel will be hard to get out.
Once the covers are off you may have to use a open ended wrench to remove the two nuts since in your case you can't move the track.
