Pinging Noise?
OK, I've had this problem ever since I've had this car (89 model).
The car idles pretty low to begin with (600-700 rpm). But when I shut the car off it makes a ticking noise (also does it some at idle). Everyone I've talked to says it's the gas, but I run 93 octane. The car doesen't have many mods except air foil, LT1 mufflers, ceramic coated intake, and possibly a mild cam. Anyone else have similar issues?
