Transmission Filter Kit
I replaced the transmission pan gasket along with the filter about 18 months and all was fine until Sunday. It looks like fluid is leaking from the front left corner of the pan. Can I seal both sides of the rubber gasket? Sounds silly, just want to get it right.

If the rubber gasket is leaking, I would bet the gasket is torn or the flange is warped. If the flange is warped, I would straighten it and use no sealer on pan gasket. If sealant blocks the servo dump hole, you will fry the trans.
