Default Tunnel ram fi setup, thoughts?

I posted this in general, but thought maybe tech would be better.
I have bid on this, and it has room under MY hood. Any thoughts on what it might take as far as a chip to make it work good? thanks, Randy

Just enter the no into ebay search box.
Does not look that much different to a Holley stealth Ram.
Plenty of info on them around especially on other GM car sites where clearance is not a problem

Im pretty sure it wont clear your stock hood. I am building a single plane EFI intake myself, and the IAC on the throttle body is super close to the water neck, to the point where I had to modify them both and carefully alter their relationship to get them to fit under the hood. This intake seems to have space in that area.

As for tuning, 30 lb injectors will require a new eprom to run. The airflow differences will also require a new tune. Most everyone I spoke to say there is a signifigant amount of AE that needs to be added to single plane and tunnel ram style manifolds vs the stock tpi.

It does look nice though, and I am sure it will make good HP with a complimenting cam and exhaust.

It does look sharp, but I tend to agre with SBNova on every point he made. Lots of engineering may be involved.

Definitely not a bolt-on.

It could be made to work, though, that's for sure.

9.100 from front manifold rail on the block to underside of hood... Just a FYI for those thinking of this type of setup.
