Sounds simmilar to my set up but even better I am curious if the shaft mounted rockers will fit under a valve cover that will work with the alt? You may end up doing some fab work if they need a taller VC. I had to grind quite a bit of my Alt casing off to get it to slide past my billit VCs but if I had to do it again I will cut the VC and weld it up with a inset for the alt. I think that thing will be a beast as long as the exhaust you choose lets it breath.

It has long tubes, y-pipe, into a homemade resonator, and then B7B cat back 84 style. The valve covers were definately fun. I cut the ends out then put a block of balsa to create the fake buldge then glassed over them. Finally I repainted them black to look stock. ALot of work but I think it turned out nicely. Looks 100% stock

Sounds similar except mine is L98.
You will enjoy the power range of that cam.

I thought the VC's would be a bit of a trick glad you already have it sorted out. I think the Y-pipe may be abit of a bottle neck but if you are in an emmisions state you have to live with what GM bolted on the car.
