Default Weatherstripping question

I replaced my weatherstripping along the front of the targa and down the pillars. At the top of the pillars there was 2 plastic pieces, one on each side. But the old weatherstripping was in really bad shape and someone had added some of that elastic type adhesive to try and patch it up. Well I need to know where the 2 plastic pieces go in relation to the weatherstripping, do they go over or under the weaterstripping?

Sorry to be so long winded...

Sorry I can't help, but I'm trying to find out where to get the elastic type adhesive patches. I've seen it on Speed Vision, but can't remember where they said to get it.

Oh yeah, I'll look at my car at home tonight and see where those pieces go.

Thanks, you can get the patches at most auto parts stores.

I have a scan of the A-pillars, windshield. Might be what you need. My e-mail is roman67844@aol.com.
