Default '95 Water pipe Pic request

If anyone can snap a pic of the '95 water pipe (GM part # 12556260) I'd really appreciate it. The '94 part has been discountinued and mine has a slight kink in it. I had planned on replacing it, but now need to know what the difference is between the two parts.

Thanks!

Just get the best pic you can. I don't expect anyone to take their car apart. (unless it is already) The the water pipe that connects the two heads together. Runs along the back up near the fire wall. I've been told that the '95 version may have two outlets, but they aren't sure.

In that pic it's part 224.

Thanks!

I think I found it. It looks like a piece of (stainless?) tubing with a banjo fitting on the passenger side. The problem is on the drivers side it is obscured by the PVC system and other plumbing.
I shot a couple of pictures however, I don't think that they are going to help you out.

Sorry

Mike

That's it. Post them or e-mail them to me at r94lt1@yahoo.com
I just need to see if there is any major difference between the two parts.

Thanks,
David

What do you know. Here's an exact picture of mine off the '94. I just need to see if the '95 looks the same or what the difference is, if any?

I can't see the entire pipe due to obstructions. I tried to move some of the plumbing however, right now my engine is as hot as two drunken coeds in a homegrown spring break hotel video. I am scanning the page from my 95 helms manual that shows a piece remarkable similar to yours. I will email it in a minute.
Sorry

Thanks so much Mike. From what you sent me they look very similar. With the exception of the bolt heads on yours being much taller (which is a good thing). Maybe that'll keep them from getting stripped down like mine have been. I think I'm going to go ahead and order it and pray that it works!

Hopefully someone with a 1995 Vette who has the LT1 pulled out for repair can give you the definative picture!

Ok now that my car has cooled off I can tell you that my water pipe is big time different than yours. The drivers side is just a banjo fitting (like yours) the passenger side has another banjo. However, this is were the similarity ends. Now this is by feel since I can't see all of the pipe(stainless tubing) and from the passenger banjo it curves and then goes up and along the intake to a rubber elbow and into the throttle body. I am sending you a couple more pics now.

Hey!!!, the diagram in HELMS is not exactly the same as what is really on my unmolested (stock) engine.(page 6A1B-3) So even the mighty factory service manual has at least one error.

I just re-looked at the pic "I sent". That is not how it would look if you where at the front of the engine. That's how it would look if it where on the engine looking from the fire wall, so yeah, the "hose" end would be on the passengers side.

Yes but my pipe goes all the way to the Throttle body with just a little rubber 90 degree elbow for attachment to the TB. They are different, however, the Helms shows your part. They must have gotten lazy and not updated the drawing.
