I used the crane narrow body roller rockers and modded the factory covers. They worked fine for me. A few friends have used aftermarket valvecovers and all seem to have pcv problems of some kind.
I'm using a set of newer GM tall perimeter bolt valvecovers and they clear my AC. I have to remove the AC compressor to take them on and off for valve adjustments though. Not too bad.
Good option for heads with perimeter and centerbolt holes...

If I had it to do over again, this is what I'd have done. I used the Pro Mag rockers and had to grind the dawg out of my stock VCs and machine down the poly locks
