at idle or moving. I archived a search, and found a thread about 94 LT1s having a service bulletin about a speedometer relay or something. I can't find any info in the shop manual about the 85 having a speedo relay. Any one had this problem? I just changed the fuel pump relay, the relay behind the battery that no one believes is the MAF power relay for the 85, and upgraded the ESC module per tech tip, and clicking is still present. Any ideas are appreciated, TIA
No change in idle or anything bad, just random clicking like morse code or something. It is something that I've noticed since last summer (I don't drive it in winter). I'm just wondering if it is something about to go in the dash or something. I noticed it after the addition of LT headers.
And vader, since you have an 86, check to see if any of the relays behind your battery match the part number of your fan relay. The relay behind my battery is the same part number as the fan relay on the inner fender well, and the shop manual does not indicate what this relay is. I'd like to know what it is, as I've seen my burn off module under the dash. I just hijacked my own thread - what a loser!

If you have two engine fans, that relay is for one of them.
