Around 1500 bucks if you shop around for a D44 with 3.45s (you will need C-beam, driveshaft and batwing). Probably about half that for a 3.54 install on your D36.

I priced out just a gear swap for about $650. All depends on what mechanics charge for the work. I found a lot of variation in pricing, but you want a guy that knows rear-ends.
I ended up buying just the pumpkin with the gears I wanted in it, then swapped it out myself--$200.
