85 Running Rich
Have a strange problem with my motor, maybe someone can help me out on this as I can not figure it out.
The motor runs rich, you can smell it, and am only getting about 17mpg on the highway.
Had my friend come over with his scanner, the O2 sensor is reading, can see it switch between rich and lean.
As far as I can see, all other sensors were reading correctly too. Also, has a bad hesitation off of idle.
Have done the usual tune up items, plugs,wires,cap. Seems like everything I try does not change the problem, also have set the fuel regulator to factory setting.
Any one have any ideas on this.
