early C4 headers/square port heads

early C4 headers/square port heads
Hey all,
I know there are a few manufacturers of headers for the C4. I was looking at some holley heads as an option for me. However, they have square exhaust ports instead of oval. Is there a header for the C4 that will fit this head? If not, what are the recommended headers for a budget motor w/ apr 400hp. Thanks.

The stock heads have square ports. If you have oval exhaust ports, you ought to check to see what heads you have. May be you can find headers once you know what heads you have.

A good performing, economical, header for the stock square port heads is the Hedman.

Kool. The holley heads are straight plug. I know holley headers will fit, but is there anything else cheaper? Hedman says "That header will fit a stock GM cast iron straight plug or a GM aluminum angle plug head only." any ideas?
