Default few ecm questions??

hey was just woundering if anyone knows if i can use a megasquirt ecm and still retain my mpg, distance traveled, distance to go, display?
also if i where to just switch to the 165 computer i will need one with the correct memcal for a automatic corvette with 350 tpi, correct? or will others from camaros work as well? also how about the cold start injector, does it have to be from a car with that as well?
i have read the above sticky's and do not see this info..

there is no colc start on the later 165 computers nor the 730.

I do not believe the MPG distance traveled stuff will display without some big time hacking with the megasquirt

You can leave your 165 ECM in place and piggy back the Megaquirt system on top existing system. All you have to do is to share some signals, keep the MAF in place and wired to the stock ECM, the in place of the ECT sensor you can install a 1/4 watt resistor with the right resistance value to simulate a normal running temperature to the stock ECM. Also you must share TPS Signal between the two ECMs, all that is needed to do this is to parallel the output from the sensor between the two ECMs. You should also be able to share the spark reference signals as well but I am not sure how the Megasquirt works in that respect, this way you can have your cake and eat it to
