Gear drive in L98

Gear drive in L98
Has anybody ran a gear drive in an L98 ? I heard that the sound and vibration will mess up the knock sensor ! Anybody know for sure ??? And if so , is there anyway around it ???

Yes you have heard correct.
Even the "silent" gear drives will make enough noise to cause false knock counts.
I have heard of a guy with a silverado who used some type of PVC pipe extension and 90* elbow and then was able to run the gear drive. But then at this point you have to ask is the knock sensor even functioning properly.
So, my question is, why do you want to run one?
