Default 94 LT1 auto throwing codes

I was riding around tonight (just finished installing a new master cyl) and I got a service ASR light. (I figured I had a bad connection because I had a lot of connectors loose to do some other work). ASR was not working at all of course. Well...I went to go home and while driving my light that were on my climate control that were on started blinking and my instant mpg display went to 99 and stayed (I wish ). I started to smell electrical burning so I immediately pulled over and shut the car off. I pulled a code 41 (EST open, which, could one of you all tell me what that means), code 71 A/C (Evap sensor Failed, I'll check that connection tomorrow), and code 83 (TCC Control Feedback Fault. I don't know what this means either).

I pulled some fused for the ECM and the ASR/ABS and they were fine. I got back in the car and started it up and it was fine...no ASR light. ASR started working and I had no other electrical problems. I'm stumped as to what happened. Any ideas? I'm going to take it out tomorrow and datalog it and see what’s going on.

JA94,

It sounds like oyu have something going onn with your Air conditioning, maybe your compressor or somthing there.... your TCC is your torque converter signal that locks and unlocks your torque converter...

Some of these codes could have been generated if you had the battery conneccted and you recently disconnected a plug... i.e. if oy hav ethe battery connected and pull the maf sensor srtart the car with it up plugged replug it in it will store the code...

Hope this helps,

Mo

I guess that is what happened, although, I thought I disconnected the battery before I disconnected anything else. I don't know. The car has been fine for 2 day. I'll keep you posted if something else happens. The smell is what really worried me.
