Need some help. I just went out ot replace the front shocks on my 92. Went to remove the bottom two bolts and it seems that the retaining nut on the bottom, under/in the lca just spins in the hole. I don't see how I could get a socket on it. Open to suggestions.
I forget the exact size (12mm), but yes a small socket will fit in there. Has to fit in there or you will never get them out! Just did it myself not too long ago.
You may have to clean out all the dirt, grease, & grime that has clogged up the hole to get the socket in there!

as posted above, use a socket on the bottom I was thinking it was a 10 mm but it could be a 12mm ... and i use a wrench on the top, they will pop loose...
