Default Gauging interest in solid Motor Mounts

I'm having a pair of solid motor mounts made for my C4. I have a 91 Vette, but not sure if the same mount was used from 85-91.
Does anyone know, if the mounts from 92-96 are different?

I believe they are all the same up till the LS1 motors....and even then they might be in the same location...not sure though. But for the "350" type motors they should all be the same.

Love the way you and Dave's cars leave with those solid axles! Everytime I see one of you guys sig pictures, it makes me want to start chopping away at mine.

Do you have any pictures you could send me of your install. I have some of Dave's, but if I recall right, you did yours a little differently than Dave's (shorter 4 link maybe?). I have been looking at those already assembled subframes in summit and Jegs that would make the conversion perhaps easier.

Also love the hood scoop! Any pictures of that? I have been thinking about one of them too!

Awesome Car!

Ski, I don't have detailed install pixs like Dave. About the only differences are that his front crossmember for the 4-link brackets are closer to the front of the car by ~4". I like my seat set all the way back, so that would be a PITA for me. That gives Dave longer links, but we have not seen any advantages over my shorter bars. Daves car has some extra cross bracing that I do not have.
I will try to dig up was pix of the hood scoop. My PC was a disk error and I'm currently working off a laptop. The laptop is a dialup and the PC is digital h-speed modem.
You should be a player for those motor mount.
PS...Dave is also getting a set.

The solid mounts eliminate motor torque over. I would only use them in a race only car.

Solid mounts may annoy some owners in a daily driver. The factory motor mounts flex, since they are made to isolate the engnes vibration from the car.

Solid as in steel? Or a sandwich containing polyurethane or alum? If they don't cost a fortune, I'd be interested. Got any pix?

Been looking for years; the usual companies make plenty for ricers but nothing for an actual sportscar with a real frame, the correct wheels driving, and decent horsepower; i.e. something that would actually benefit from these...
