A stock L-98 with turbos is a ticking bomb.
As with any forced induction, power and boost all depends on what parts you put into it.
My 90 L-98 stock is rated at 10:1 compression and has hyperutektic pistons. not good for boost.

if you are refering to the callaway TT, those are a whole different story. They were built to take boost.

if you want to look at what can be done to set one up for boost, vistit here.

I'M doing a 427 aluminum dart small block l98 . Callaway aerobody .front mounted innercooler to4e/t3 hybrid low mounted turbos. Should be around 1100-1200 hp. Stealth ram with custom plenum . Billet specialities front mount acessories. gen 7 accell with 83 lb injectors. I've mocked up the total setup and am now installing the engine back in in two weeks.

Sounds like a nice set up.
what size exhaust are you running off the turbine housings?
what diameter are your primary pipes on the turbo manifolds?
Are the billet specialties accessories the set up the compacts everything in front of the engine?
What are the details on the intercooler?
How are you mounting it?
What heads are you using?

I am looking into building a 406 for my TT's. That aluminum block has been catching my eye a lot. what do you think of it? what is the max power dart rates it at?

I also have an aerobody kit I need to install. I have been debating on mounting the intercooler and radiator at asomething like 35 degree angle. so the top of the radiator would be sitting on the seam between the hood and the nose. then work some exit holes into the hood to direct air out of it.

I was also thinking about trying to make a way that the 4 holes in the nose feed cold air to the turbos. but I am stuck at work and cant do anything....

Just a little word of experience......... you can't make that much horsepower through t4/t3 hybird turbos. You're going to need, at a minimum full T4 turbos, probably with q-trims. If you're only looking for 600 in a twin setup I would think you might get by with T4/T3's, but nowhere near 1000+

yeah I was thinking that as well.
then I think of monty and meany using the pt-52's to get 1200+
as well as biscanne, which made like ~1100.

the pt-52 looks like it has a T3 housing on it. it actually is a t350 housing but that is related to buick stuff.
I talked to monty about this in short and he said he used 3" down pipes, which makes me think they bore the T350's style housing open to a 3" exit?
http://www.precisionturbo.net/turboc...tegory_id=3022

this has been bothering me for a while. what are the tricks of the PT-52?

a pt 52 is the exact same size as a 60-1 hifi . a to4e /t3 stage 5 like I have is slightly smaller on the compressor side but exactly the same size turbine as the pt 52. Also, all three of these turbos have a 3 inch inlet and 2 inch outlet. my to4e/t3 is rated at 585 hp- the pt-52 and the 60-1 hifi are rated at 600 hp.
