Default Digital gauges on Lt4

Was noticing the other day that my digital (air core gauges) do not register anything. All display 0..ie: Oil temp, Volts, etc. The analog gauges are working fine but I need to have the Oil temp in degrees.

I thought it might be prudent to post this here before I take the car to the dealership where I just know I will take a bath! Just hoping someone here may have had a similar problem and was familiar with the required fix.

Thanks guys!

Sounds like a connection issue on your gauge cluster, but I have never seen this problem on a 92-96 Vette. The Helms manual would really help in this situation. If just the coolant temp was reading 0, then I would say you have a sensor problem.

The service manual says to check terminal a7 of the instrument cluster connecter to be sure it is grounded. It also says to check for DTC's in the CCM.

Thanks guys! I was looking through the service manual but I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. Will follow this up.
