I have a '92 LT-1. At what temp shoud the left(driver's side) fan come on? My right fan seems to be working OK i.e. comes on with the A/C. However, the left side does not seem to be working. Is there a relay or temp switch that comtrols it? Where might they be located.

There indeed is a relay for each fan; the ECM usually runs only the primary fan, the secondary is for occasional use.

To test them jumper the ALDL pins A&B (upper right) with a paper clip and start the engine. The ECM should bring on both fans.

My 96 LT1 is set by the factory to come on at 226 or if the A/C is turned on.

Thanks much. I'll give the test a try. I want to make sure they both are working.

I tried the "jumper" with a paper clip. The left side still did not come on. Maybe a relay? Where is it located?
