I just bought a keyless entry system for my car because I'm a lazy **** (and the rod for the lock cylinder keeps falling off even after replacing the plastic clip)
anywho it gives me 6 differant wiring setups for the power locks for a multiple of vehicles.
Does anyone know what type of locking system GM uses in these C4's?
Could you just put the rod back in the clip and add a zip tie or wire to keep it from popping out? If that doesn't work, get the welder out
I think the welder is indeed needed for this subborn rod. I've put it back in 7 times now and 2 weeks to a month later when I unlock the door it pops out.

If memory serves, it is polarity reversing and the pass side is the dominant door.
