SuperRam on LT1?
There was a '96 Impala SS on eBay recently with a super ram intake. Can this be used on an LT1? I know it was designed to replace the TPI.
Either they modified the super ram, or the entire engine was replaced with a conventional small block. Anybody know the answer?

Yes it is possible, all you need is the LT1 Super Ram lower intake manifold and the runner and plenum kit. LPE had many F body cars out there with 383 conversions running the SR.

I've seen some autocrossers running that combo.
They do it to gain more midrange torque, since they can change the intake, but not the cam & gears. It's one of the 'racing rules' things.
