Well that is what my friends call me. Whenever we race at the track my nos fails me. It worked once last year and I smoked everyone. These are all C-5 modified cars running as low as 12.3.

The biggest problem has been the MSD ignition and retard. This is the third one that did not work. I took it off but was too timid to spray without the timing retarded. The engine modified to about 400 HP and the chip is tuned for these modifications and as such the timing is advanced.

This weekend I said what the H___ and let it go. Spraying 100 shot with a TNT wet throttle body plate, full throttle switch and rpm control switch.

Call me Mr NOS..

FYI I run a NX wet system with all the trimmingso on my ZR1, minus the timing retard... car screams and no detonation. NX systems are designed that way, not sure about the TNT systems, however, if your notrous and fuel ratio is correct, you won't need any timing retard.

I use a Barry Grant "Nitrous Works" wet 13015 kit. I spray a 125 shot on my near stock L98 with headers and all the freebies. I do have a low fuel pressure safety switch but I use no window switch or timing retard. I have the WOT switch and a spray button in the cockpit (its an automatic). I spray off the line as soon as the RPMs reach say 2200 and I know I'm hooked.

I've been known to get anxious and grab the button right on launch and haven't had any problems yet. In fact my best times were when I did this. Im running MT et street drag radials so hooking up is not a problem.

Now maybe if I was spraying any higher than 125 I would retard a bit but I have no detonation or ping. It's running great. I'm running pretty consistent 60" times at around 1.689 to 1.8225 with ET's ranging from 12.0122 to 12.6415 depending on track and weather conditions.

This is with a mostly stock 1990 L98. I'm still hunting those ever evasive 11' s.

What size jets are you using?
Damn man, spraying @ 2200rpm?! I sprayed a 110hp shot @ 3000rpm in first gear on BFG Drag Radials, and the damn car wouldn't hook! (Of course, the track wasn't prepped that well )
My goal is 11.8 on a 125hp kit, either that, or to trap 115.

N2O jet=52, fuel jet=33 for 125 shot.

My Mickey T's stick like crazy glue. My 2:59 gears and stock converter hurt me though.

Good luck with that goal.
