anybody know how much an A-4 to ZF coversion might cost, and who would do it in the eastern NC area? im just curious, dont have the cash, but i'd like to get an idea. alright brothers, rock on

Based on the price of the parts and the fact you will be paying labor, I would bet it is at least 3k.

If you are paying labor, try alot more than that. There have been several people here on the board that did the swap themselves and have almost that much into it.

Most of the time this question comes up, the standard reply is sell the car and buy a stick car. I can see why they say that. In my opinion,3k is too much. More that that makes it even worse. Auto stuff is not worth much. Recouping money on the sale of the auto parts is not very likely.

defenitely more than 3K, its costing me 2K to get my A4 rebuilt, some folks have said its about 6K total, and about a month without their car

Also when you get a stick car its got a Dana 44.
