Default Friday is the day

Well, Friday, we are heading back to the track to make some runs again. Hopefully everything gonna holding up. We are intented to boosting 20+psi. Hopefully Rick will install the mega squirt and LC1 WBO2 feedback some time before Friday. I will be picking up 5 gallon of C16 race fuel on Monday. I want to see this car run hard as it intented to be. If Rick can borrow a set of drag radial tires from the C5 buddy we will trap them up for the track.

Bruce,
You need to get some vdeo of that thing making a pass!!! Keep us informed as to the times you're laying down. Also, let me know how the WBO2 works with the C16...I've heard leaded fuels can cause those types of sensors some problems.

Chris
According to the LC1 manual. It says if using leaded fuel will shorten the life span of the sensor. It also says this sensor will last 50-500 hrs if using leaded fuel. The leaded fuel I will be using is only for track use. Therefore it should last for a while.

My factory O2 has been replaced with Denso lead resistant sensor. This sensor has been tested by GMHTP while back. So lead fuel is not a problem. We will try to get some video.

Thunder shower here today. No luck. One way or another we will hit the track at least once before they close down for the Fall.

If he running a lot of boost. try arp head stud and cometics multi layer steel gasket that is what I have now. If he still getting blown head gasket that mean he running to much timing and to much boost and not enough octane or he is running to lean that caused detonation.

Just filling 5 gallon of C16 fuel @$9.50 a gallon. I am hoping to see high 10s tonight with street tires (no drag radial tires available) We won't be able to run more than 17psi because the secondary fuel injector s are not up running yet. I am sure the 1st set injector will absolutely maxed out at that boost level. Oh well but at least we will see what it does in the track.
