Well today’s project was replacing the OEM shocks. I got the KYB’s, because they seemed like the best bang for the buck, and all I can say is wow. If any of you guys are running on old worn out shocks I highly recommend replacing them ASAP, it makes a huge difference. I had a slight shudder in the front end that is now completely gone. Last week I had the car aligned and they balanced the tires and it still had a slight shake at around 60 MPH well I can now say that is gone and the car rides so much smoother it’s unreal. The only bad thing is I found a broke/missing bracket on my left Muffler. I wonder if Magna Flow will replace it under warrantee.

Paul, thats great news on the shocks As for your Magnaflow muffler, same thing happened to me last week......broken bracket (muffler hung about 1/2" low).....took it to the muffler shop and they welded it back up.....free of charge....I guess they like me for some reason, or maybe it was the car

Brad the problem I have at the moment is the whole assy is now off in never never land so if I get a shop to do it they will have to fab all the pieces as well. Mine for some reason was stiff enough to set in the same location but I did use a coat hanger around the tip as a temp solution so the other welds wont get stressed. I have to hit the road tomorrow and drive to Maryland so I hope it will be ok for the trip as I leave at 6AM.

F2dblk I Installed These Schocks On My 95 Vette About 1 Month Ago,and I Was Wondering If Your Front End Is The Same Height. When I Installed Mine, My Front End Rose 1 Inch And Its Driving Me Crazy. I Posted A Thread And They Told Me It Should Take About 500 Miles For The Shocks To Come Back Down. Well Its Been About 1500 Miles And The Height Is Still The Same. My Front Was 27 1/4 With The Old Shocks And 28 1/4 With New Ones. Any Input At All Would Be Great.
