Header Gaskets??
I am in the process of installing my headers on to my 1987 Vette. Are there "Prefered" gaskets? I have 113 heads with the D ports and the headers have huge round openings, way bigger than the head ports.
I have looked around at AuTozone and NAPA and other parts houses. The varity seems endless. The standard gaskets appear to be steel edged composit gaskets while the more esenteric gaskets are solid coppper.
Any recommendations (pros and cons) appreciated.
