Default '96 LT1 W/auto--Ecm editing?

I am looking for suggestions on who can do changes to the ECM OBDII.
I have a laptop computer that can be used to do this myself if needed.
I don't know what is the best bang for a dollar. I need to bypass the rear O2 sensors, change shift point for sure. I don't know if I need to make any more changes until these are done.

Please help,
JTHVETTE

Bite the bullet and buy LT1 Edit ( http://www.carputing.com )

Since you own an auto (as I do) it is invaluable for customizing shift points. In fact, tuning the engine is a piece of cake. Tuning the transmission takes about four times as much effort.

We do tuning (www.pcmforless.com)

If your interested in tuning yourself check out tunercat.com. His email is tc@tunercat.com I like tunercat much better than LT1 edit and its not vin locked on top of that.

Since when did TunerCat provide an OBDII version? I'm on board if they provide one. Details please.

Additional Vehicle Definition Files can be purchased for $79.95 each.

As with all our software, the OBDII Tuner program is not VIN locked to a single vehicle.

Since we don't have the OBDII Tuner up in the web site yet, you can either order via PayPal (to tc@tunercat.com) or send a check or money order to:

C.A.T.S.
14327 Dogwood Lane
Belle Haven, VA 23306

You'll need the OBD2_08 Vehicle Definition File for your '96 Corvette.

You can download a demo version of the OBDII Tuner program at:

www.tunercat.com/obd2/obd2tnr_demo.zip

To install the demo program just unzip and run the installation program.

Best regards,

TC

Default '96 LT1 programming--PCMFORLESS

I just got my PCM backfrom PCMFORLESS and wanted to know what items to remove for EGR delete? This Vette is used for racing only, so don't start telling me I can't do this, please.

Thanks,
JTHVETTE

Pretty easy to do, just remove the EGR valve from the back of the intake manifold, and either buy or fab up your own block off plates for the EGR valve and the exhaust gas tube. You can also remove the EGR control solenoid as well.

What about the lines that run from the back of the intake to the exhaust manifolds and the rubber hoses that are connected to these metal lines? What about the "air pump"(?) that the rubber hoses connect to? Thanks for your help.

Thanks
