The buick and C5 guys all swear by pure alky.
really depends on the efficiency of the blower/turbo.
i swear by 50/50. anything more then that, and you dramatically increase the chances of detonation since the flash point of alcohol is much lower then petrol.

otherwise, water injection is awesome. cleans the internals, increases compression, and allows higher boost or lower octane. good stuff.

I read in the c-5 section of one guy using a 25 hp dry shot of n2o to cool the charge........you know you'll get an hp increase doing that....anybody have any experiance?

Well...last time i dynoed the car...it made 20psi of boost around 5200-5500rpm and +/- 600rwhp(really don't remember the exact rpm and rwhp). So, i think/hope at 6500rpm it would make 22-24psi.

About the drivetrain...i'm switching to a solid differential....

The sad part is that they told me the stock block will not handle more than 700hp...but...i will shoot it with alot of gas and hope it would hold up atleast one pass....

Nah if you got billet mains and a good steel crank it ill be just fine. Hell look at "BIG RICK's" lt1 powered firebird. It makes more than 1500hp and has done so for more than 100 passes.

this is quite a popular mod in the EVO world. it makes scnece really. i think the temp of the N2O as the evaperates is something like -40degrees C! and you do get about 1-1.5bhp per 10 degrees drop in intake temps (i think)!

Chris.
