All Dana36 (auto) 84-96 pumpkin and batwing same.
All Dana44 (stick) 85-96 pumpkin and batwing same.
Suspensions:
84-87 shorter, drum parking brake.
88-96 wider, caliper parking brake.

The pre 88 cars had a smaller hole where the strut rods attach. The holes sometimes need to be enlarged to fit the 88 and up holes of the strut rod brackets.

yep... I was very surprised to see this first hand when I swapped my 3.07 geared batwing out of the 85 vette to my 91 vert (2.75 gears stock) it took a flashlight and 10 minutes to see the difference.. lol

I think its about a 1/2 inch on each side, a total of 1 inch. With the offset, the early models (84-87)had a 36mm offset on the rims, and the newer uses the 56mm offset.
