Misses when warm
When Yiu first start out of the drive way. The car runs great. As you continue to drive. The miss starts to happen. It is worse at a steady cruise any rpm. Not noticable under acceleration. But shut the car off for 5 min and the problem repeats the same way. No miss when starting out. This seems strange since the motor is up to temp now.

Check your injectors, sounds like one or more are/is leaking/sticking..
You can use a digital volt meter set to 1-20 OHM range. All injectors should be within one OHM of each other. Which injectors do you have?
Better yet what car do you have?

I would be willing to bet money that it is probably your spark plug wires getting to hot. Its a common problem for people that have headers and a "hot" cam. I would get some high temp wires and cover them with 2000*F sheaths. Same thing happend to my buddy... and it fixed the problem.

Can you say knock sensor
When we did the chip I was sure that the knock sensor was deleted. I was wrong. The car made gob's of power and the base timing was set at 12 deg adv. Moved this back to 6/8 and the problem went away. Not as much power, But runs well.
The problem did not seem to be there at all during hard acceleration only when you eased into it. Should that be correct? Seems to me it should be the other way around.
Oh well I am always amazed at this thing.
