Engine Swap
Im sure that this has been asked before but what kinda of engine can you swap into an 85 because the 85 that my dad just bought has a lot of miles on it, 150,000, and im thinking in the future what should swap to, Or should I just think about rebuilding it. My goal is to get 400WHP. I think that would be reasonable but I want it done with out prochargeing it. Can it be done?

Can you bea little more specific on what you're considering?
When you say what "kinda" engine, are you thinking of staying with a small block Chevy, stuffing ina Big Block, or something else?
Much of what you end up doing will depend on several things: Your budget, mechanical experience, intended use of the car, etc.
400 RWHP is do-able with the right parts, enough $$ and know-how.

well, you could always swap a hot LS1 w/mods, or "hot" LS2 in there. lol 
I cant really say I've seen it done though. Wouldn't have to do as much to it to get 400 whp but it would cost alot more. My mommy always told me money grew on trees....doesn't it 
?? That would be a pretty nice swap... expensive, but a very nice and more reliable/streetable than other option.
