Default Delco shocks?

Does anyone have experience with Delco shocks? I need to replace some generic shock the previous owner put on (generic because I did not see any mfrs label on them). There's a seller on ebay with a new set of Delco for $100 - are they worth $100 or is that $$ flushed away?

Run.....as fast as you can! When I first purchased my 85 prior to knowing anything about the corvetteforum I wasted a $100 on 4 delco shocks. The ride was horrible! I have had the edelbrock on for 4 years now and love them. Ride is firm like a sportscar should be but keep in mind I replaced all of my suspension parts and upgraded to poly bushings throughout. Some prefer the koni's that I believe you can get from www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com for under $150 for all 4. Don't quote me on the price but it was something to that affect. Hang around for a while and see what other answers you get. I paid around $450 for all 4 for mine 4 years ago. Hell of a deal for the ride I have now. Good luck!

Koni's may be top of the line and Delco's are not. Why not take a look at KYB's. Take a look on Ebay and price them for your vette. KYB's are priced like Delco's but have much more favorable feedback.
