Either way, ZFDoc's C-Beam plates are made to correct this kick out. It has to do with the torque on the C-beam (the brace that encloses the driveshaft and runs tranny to diff). Though those will do a better job correcting them. The quick check to see if it is part of the issue, is to get under the car and tighten them. This may just help!

My old '68 Chevelle used to do that. The bushings in the rear end components were totally shot letting the rear end move around. Check all of your mounts and bushings.
I'm thinkin' bushings too. How many miles on the car. You may find that your convertible(like mine) needs every little bit of help it can get in an effort to tighten up the chase. Beam plates, bushings and camberbrace all had a possitive impact on my ride.
