Wow thats cooler than mine !! Very good job !!!! Does the car still handle well?
how is front to rear weight dist.?
I'm not sure about that, but thanks anyway. I'm also not sure about the weight distribution but it does handle great as it has coil overs and energy suspension bushings everywhere. My motor does have alum. heads and the battery has been relocated to behind the passenger seat. I'm sure the big block does have some effect, but unless you are a professional road racer where success is measured in 100's or 1000's of a second, you wouldn't notice any difference.
Me likey .
Your heads outflow my cnc'd 195 afr's by a shot.
I wonder how the difference's of my alky setup will compare to yours/bruce's.
Im gonna put in a new section in my website called WILD c4's with a detailed rundown of our setups/ parts parameters and even some Bin files for the DIY guy. If your interested Id like you to be incuded as well as tony Brian, chris and all the other big HP FI setups. NA,too so that means You too JEB!

I'm on board, Rick! I'll start throwing some pics your way of my SB2 (and of the poor car)...Sweet numbers, Crazy... Damn, you guys have got me thinking of pulling out some stroke and getting some new pistons to drop the compression for a hairdryer! A big 101 on those 420 cfm heads??? Mmmmm....Turbos....Mmmm... Actually have a friend here in AR running a 406" SB2 with a big 96mm turbo in a Outlaw Malibu; TOO EFFING FAST!!! I made a pass in that car on our local 1000' track, 20 psi of boost and I ran a 6.22 at 161 which works out to a 7.44 at 176 in the 1/4... Gotta love the hairdryers!!!

wow, SB2 +101? that would be like 2200hp@7500! thats the kinda motor you only need 2 gears for- Low and HI. DO IT you could get a cool custom licence plate that says " Deep 6's"

You know what really makes me SERIOUSLY consider it?? The fact that turbos hit the tires much softer and are much less abusive on the engine than my big bottle is... I've run and tuned nitrous for street and race for well over 10 years and it is ABUSIVE on parts, particularly driveline components, even IF you use a progressive controller. Turbos are much more forgiving. I've seriously been considering it. But, for now, since the motor has already been together once and on the dyno I'm going to keep it N2O based. I would have to do too many things to drop the compression to a manageable level (which for me would be 10.00:1). I would have to take the 4" arm out of it and probably go with a 3 7/8" stroke so I could put more compression height in the pistons for a massive dish; my combustion chambers are 50cc's!! But, yeah, a big 101 would be stupid in a C4 with an SB2!

Yep, but no water jackets...World Castings has an aluminum block that I need.. as soon as I ruin my current setup that's what I'll buy...
Sure they do, you just add a "W" to the end of the part no. lol.
MMM Billet. that must be one hell of a piece of stock they start out with. They should have a "Y" extrusion made. Man I want my own CNC
Jeb I have been thinking for years- what manufacturing ideas do I have that I could use as an excuse to have a FFL class 3.
For now I just have the ol bump fire method. pull the weapon forward with your finger thru the trigger guard and placed firmly against your hip. the recoil will empty the clip so fast (when you get it right) that there is only a foot between shells in the air.
Not very aimable though. In fact the ol' broad side of a barn euphamism comes to mind. Sounds damn impressive though.

Yup...That works well, but fortunately mine all have a little selector lever on them... Well, except for the two belt-feds...
