89 A4-Lame PCV valve question
Aren't they supposed to be kind of loose inside meaning if you shake them they rattle pretty easy? My new Delco PCV is STUCK. Went to Autozone, pulled one out of the box and it was the same way. Wondering if this is part of the problem (excessive cranckcase press.)with my rear intake manifold leaks? With 124k miles it runs strong and never smokes out of the pipes, but if you pull the valve out some blowby/cranckase pressure blows out. Should I put a breather in the other side? Car doesn't seem to be selling (

Yeah the new parts should have the Rattle in them.Or you can clean the old one like 65 said.
I noticed with most engines theres sometimes a little steam or very light smoke(not blue oil type) that can come out of a hot engine off the pcv.IS that what youre seeing?If so its probably normal.
