My 1985 coupe is overheating. The radiator fan is working, but the one at front of the condenser is not working. I noticed that a plug connector is loose by the oil dipstick and I see kind of a piece screw to the manifold and seems to be the piece where the plug goes in. The wire plug has one pin but the piece in the manifold where it is suppose to fit is broke. Does this part has something to do with the fan by the front condenser ?

I believe and I could well be wrong, that on your car, the switch for the aux fan is on the rightside, near the dipstick. It is a single pin connector. To check it out, ground the wire lead and the fan should come on
On later years, they moved ( I think) this switch to the left side between 1 & 3 which is where your temp sensor for the ecm is
