Got your message on my cell yesterday...congrats! Was dead tired so I did not have a chance to call you back. Went home and crashed on the couch.

You're right, you are the first stock ECM'ed guy I have tuned that broke into the 9s! That has to be a great feeling! By the sounds of your one message the other day the car probably has a better ET in it, might need to put a set of wheelie bars on it to limit the front end lift.


Sounds like this weekend was a good race for all of us.

Can you post or send me your slip. I would like to see how my last 1/2 of the track compares to yours.

I was going through the last 1/2 in 3.775sec this past weekend.

On that pass:

60' 1.335
330 4.043
1/8 6.328 @ 107.75
1000 8.310
1/4 9.992 @ 133.70

I had better incrementals(et & mph) on some of the runs but this was the best 1/4 time. The car seems to be nosing over before the 1000' cone, thats where the O2 starts dropping off rapidly from the 820-840 I see most of the way down the track.

I'll be in around 9 tonight give me a call and we'll go over the data log,

Well it looks like I could have the power to get through the last 1/2 enough to eek out a near 9s pass in better weather. Since our last 1/2 are fairly comparable (mine on the brakes this past weekend) and certainly mine should improve with better air. And our MPH is almost the same. It give me hope!

Your 60' times though are MUCH MUCH better. I suspect to see some 1.3s with better weather and some more tweaking. Its a long tough battle as you well know. The funny thing is it seems once you break that barrier, the car will run it forever. Its all the little things that make it possible.

Your there...relax and start taking home cash now. Where your at is a good point. You know 8s is nearly impossible, without a power adder - so now you can just race.
