You are very lucky. The next thing to replace are the stock fuel lines in the engine compartment. The lines are steel and rubber that are very close to the exhaust manifold.
Dave, tell everyone about your experience with these fuel lines.

Wheelsup,

Good point to share with other C4 owners! I haven't see this mentioned in a long time so here's a refresher:

Last year I was running the engine and happened to look down at the factory fuel line rubber flex point near the front of the engine on the pressure side coming from the filter. It appeared that the rubber flex line had separated laminations and the pressure was inflating it like a small water balloon! I immediately removed the line and replaced it with one I borrowed from wheelsup(I will give it back some day ).

Just everyone keep an eye on this area, remember some of you are driving around in cars over 20 years old! This rubbery stuff doesn't live forever, especially when it's got 40+ PSI internal on it!
