I was wondering if anyone has removed the rack that some C4 models came with in the early to mid 90's. I'm looking at a 91 in great shape but the luggage rack is an eye sore to me.

I'm not sure how the luggage racks were attached to C4's but if they were bolted on like the C3's I suggest you either learn to live with it or look for another car. There is almost no way to fill those holes and keep them undetectable.
I have a car that had the rack removed by the previous owner. The hole repair was well done i think, but you can still see the hole locations if you know they are there. I am currently planning to replace the missing rack so that I can keep the car true to the RPO sheet. Not a classic yet but who knows...

There are 16 3/8" diameter holes drilled thru the decklid that the luggage rack mounts to. It would be ALMOST impossiable to fill these and NOT have them show thru the new paint work in a few years.
The GM Luggage rack is still available from the dealer or some of the Corvette parts places for under $200.

sorry you feel that way! But hey, opinions make the world go round
Frankly, I added one to my 88 and it is one of e best things I did! I use it! It's great for trips when the wife wants to pack a big suitcase!
I haul stuff on it to car shows and track events
Wouldn't do with out it!
Like previously said, filling and repainting all those holes might be a nightmare
