I have a 96 Vette with 90,000 miles on it. I think it's time for the shocks to be replaced. Has anyone gone through this process,? I heard it's really expensive. Is it worth it or better to go with another shock conversion??? Any info would really be appriciated. P.S. C-4's Rule. Has anyone out there their system fixed or serviced.

I went through the same thing when I got my vette. The shocks were shot and I did not really have anything to compare it to until my father bought one and I drove it. WOW, what a difference. I bought some Qa1 shocks (which I have for sale now for the front - went to a drag racing type shock recently) and the car was 100% transformed for the better.
Shocks will make the car feel like its on rails and make it MUCH safer.
Let me know if you are interested in these 12way adjustable shocks. I am going to Ebay them or put them on the forum for sale.
The only real fix I know of is to buy the real F45 Delphi shocks. About $1200 bucks. I'm unaware of a factory rebuild (unlike Bilstein which seems to take care of their customers).
Screw that. I replaced mine with the Z51 Bilstein shocks. They actually work quite well with the FE1 suspension (the F45 is the base FE1 suspension plus the RTD shocks). I've been pleased with the results.
