I would like to see some pics of how its done. Maybe some links out there?
From reading on here, it seems like a direct prot is the way to go. Just curious if anyone around has actually done it
Thanx!
Direct port is the ONLY way to go with a SuperRam. The SR, while a great manifold was NEVER intended for ANY type of wet flow; when a wet mix is added the large plenum causes it to fall out of suspension and the rear cylinders starve. 7 and 8 are NOTORIOUS for this when using a plate system or a single fogger plumbed before the t.b...
Take it from someone with some experience here, I holed #8 on a mild 150 shot. I was using an EGT in #7 when it happened and I saw 1700 degrees on it, I suspect #8 was even higher! Either way it was because they starved. Direct port is the only way to go on an SR.

I currently am running a 383 with a super ram and a TNT wet nitrous kit (plate system). I ran over a bottle through it and had one mishap.
This mishap could have been my mistake though, I'll explain.
I have a B&M ripper shifter with a T handle with a thumb activated button. I had my mechanic track down a short in my line for my bottle heater. Each time they took the handle off and put it back on, they had to tighten it a bit further each time. Well, at the end , it no longer resembled a "T" it was more of a 45 degree handle. I left it like that temporarily as driving it around town was easy enough. Well when I went to the track with it, I guess I got over-excited or whatever and jammed third gear and hit the button and BAM.
All I saw in the rear view was a cloud of black smoke, I clutched in and coasted the remainder of the track. I went to pits and idle seemed a little off. I blew the wires right out of my MAF though. Check engine light on and off, so I kept racing, what the hell huh? I ran a 12.8 that day but it was feeling really sluggish, I guess due to the MAF.
Maybe I've been lucky to not grenade my engine so far, but I'm gonna install a purge and keep testing the waters.
