Hey all -- 85 Corvette.. and the cruise does nothing. On my other cars.. the first place to look is usually the brake switch.. I did a quick look under the brake and didn't see it. Can you give me an idea of what to start checking? It does nothing.
I really appreciate it. The vacuum lines look fine. I would consider something like that if the cruise light lit up.. but, it does absolutely nothing

If you disconnect cruize cable from the throttle you can jumper signals to the controller (located over the battery) at idle to test the controller. With the connector open you can also test signals from the multi-function sw on the steering column.
If you drop me an e-mail I can shoot off some pics of the two relavent wiring pages from my '85 Shop Manual and get them to you by return mail.

I always check the fuse first
If that is fine does your digital dash work properly bc the cruise goes through it, then relay
if the light on the dash doesnt come on sounds electrical to me and not vacuum related
